Four Lines Diary
"Four lines diary" is a method for a self-expanding-program, developed by Dr. Keichi Kobayashi.
The diary consists of four sentences which describe
- Fact
- Discovery
- Lesson
- Declaration
for each day.
Each sentence should be concise and related to each other.
This application allows you to:
- Save a diary entry and send it by e-mail.
- View and edit past entries.
- Add star to your favorite entries.
- Check the entries with stars.
How to insert a date in e-mail subject
You can set any words or phrase in the Subject setting. This is used as e-mail subject.
Some special characters like %Date:MM-dd-yy% are allowed in order to insert the date.
For example,
%Date:MM-dd-yy%
will be replaced with the actual date on which the diary was created.
Following formats can be used as part of date.
yyyy: Year (4 digits)
yy: Year (2 digits)
MM: Month
dd: Day
EEE: Day of the week
Examples:
- 4 Lines Diary (%Date:MM-dd-yyyy%) →
4 Lines Diary (12-31-2014) - %Date:yy/MM/dd (EEE)% →
14/12/31 (Mon)
