Four Lines Diary

"Four lines diary" is a method for a self-expanding-program, developed by Dr. Keichi Kobayashi.

The diary consists of four sentences which describe

1. Fact
2. Discovery
3. Lesson
4. Declaration

for each day.

Each sentence should be concise and related to each other.

This application allows you to:

• Save a diary entry and send it by e-mail.
• View and edit past entries.
• Add star to your favorite entries.
• Check the entries with stars.

How to insert a date in e-mail subject

You can set any words or phrase in the Subject setting. This is used as e-mail subject.

Some special characters like %Date:MM-dd-yy% are allowed in order to insert the date.

For example,

%Date:MM-dd-yy%

will be replaced with the actual date on which the diary was created.

Following formats can be used as part of date.

 yyyy: 　Year (4 digits)
 yy: 　　Year (2 digits)
 MM: 　　Month
 dd: 　　Day
 EEE: 　 Day of the week

Examples:

• 4 Lines Diary (%Date:MM-dd-yyyy%) → 4 Lines Diary (12-31-2014)
• %Date:yy/MM/dd (EEE)% → 14/12/31 (Mon)
